Lesson Topic:

Youtube Oscars

Lesson Objective:

To teach students to write movie reviews by using evaluative adjectives.

Teaching Procedures:

1.          Ss look for interesting video clips from Youtube.

2.          Ss add the link of their own favourite clip on the weblog and write a 100-word review about the clip chosen. In this review, Ss must recycle the evaluative adjectives they have acquired (e.g. impressive, elaborative, and profound).

3.          Others can post feedbacks to whichever clips they are interested.

4.          Discussion will be held in lessons.

5.          Each S should vote for the following awards:

l          Best Actor

l          Best Actress

l          Best Picture

l          Best Visual Effects

What is the function of blog in the teaching plan?

1.          As a platform for all the students to post multimedia resources for sharing purposes

2.          As an interactive discussion forum which encourages writing and promotes out-of class exchanges of ideas
